Joining the OpenCM Team

If you think it's likely that you will make a significant contribution to OpenCM, we can add your key to our repository user base. To do this, follow the directions for creating users in the user manual and send us your certificate file (the pem file -- not the .key file) via email to the opencm-admin alias (at opencm.org), along with a rough sense of what you think you are likely to do.

As a courtesy, please don't do this unless you really think you are likely to contribute substantially. The more time we spend installing users the less time we have to work on OpenCM. Only you can know what the best use of time is, but please take a moment to ask yourself if you really have the time. If you end up doing wonderful things later, we can always add a key for you at a later time.

Reminder: Do NOT send us your key file! We don't want it! We don't need it! Likewise, do NOT send us your pass phrase.

Read-Only For Now

At this point we are not opening up our repository for modifications by outside parties, but we can at least get you using your own OpenCM account (key) today, and this will let us integrate and attribute your changes more effectively when replication is enabled. When we do get around to adding you we can simply activate your key for modifications.
